Storage Silos

Most commodities are stored prior to processing either at the location of harvest or at the processing facility. Weatherproof and pest resistant silos or bins are available in flat bottom (normally larger capacity) and hopper bottom bins (for self-cleaning when frequently filled and emptied). These silos allow the climate inside to be regulated by means of temperature monitoring devices, aeration fans and a venting system.
